Tips to Help Save You Money When Purchasing On-Site Training

This is the first in a series of tips to help save you money if you hire outside (or onsite) communication trainers or purchase onsite communication training for your business, or are in charge of purchasing any type of professional training workshops.

Tip #1: Print your own materials.

Step 1: Get a final quote from your training provider, and then ask if workshop materials are included in the bid. They should be.

Step #2: Ask what type of discount you will receive if you print the training materials yourself  instead of the training company providing them to you. You should look for a savings of around $20 per person, maybe more. Printing the materials normally consists of the training provider sending you a PDF which you print out and copy for attendees. All you need is a printer and a copy machine.

This may seem like a small savings, but when you put many small savings together, you start to save BIG bucks. You should never look for discount training providers. Instead, look for premium trainers, and help them work within your training or speaking budget. You can afford premium onsite training workshops and keynote speakers. Just be creative, and let me know if you need any help, or have any questions. I’d be happy to help you, even if Power Diversity isn’t your onsite training provider.
